Flavors are fun and interesting, with a uniquely North Carolina choice like sweet tater and molasses – one of a kind. You have to try one of their warm cupcakes where heated compote gets poured into the middle and the butter cream melts on contact. The smashed banana fosters warm cupcake was sensational.
I can never resist a maple bacon duo, especially when the bacon looks like it is cooked to perfection. If the namesake cupcake is in the house, you have to try it! The peppered cupcake is not something I thought I would be into – but the complex palate works flawlessly. There is a cozy eclectic sitting area to indulge in.
Cupcakes for dessert are a must here in Wilmington, each one was truly a masterpiece baked fresh and from scratch daily – be sure to walk on by when you are downtown.
