Get your game on in Gainesville! The three story Arcade Bar [6 E University Ave, Gainesville, FL 32601] is the place to be.
So if you hate crowds, I advise you get there early! At the beginning of the evening it was quiet, a diverse crowd with hipsters, some older people, generally those focused on gaming.
However, this is a 21+ bar and into the night I felt like I was at a raging frat party with the fog machines and lights and college kids around.
It was very comical from my point of view and I embraced the vibe. You’ll find foosball, skeeball, classic arcade games, and what I came for of course – pinball!
Exchange your $$ for tokens and get to playing. Great games from the 90s like Medieval Madness, White Water, and Lord of the Rings.
Classics like the Adams Family, Simpsons, and Creature from the Black Lagoon. At the time I visited the PBR Can Crusher machine had just come out and I was stoked to see it first here!
It’s in the vintage style, very different from other newer machines. 
I was surprised at how much fun I found in Gainesville and hope to get back there soon.
