It’s a wide open space with high ceilings in a little local mall.
We walked in early as the place was opening and even at 7AM the staff was friendly and helpful. A little bewildered at the early hour before my morning coffee, I wasn’t sure what to get. The waiter suggested the carrot cake pancakes and I decided to trust him. There were just two pancakes, but they were huge!
The multigrain batter was superb, and the sweet maple cream cheese sauce was off the chain. The pancakes came with a side of meat and potatoes or fruit. Bacon and a fruit bowl were welcomed accompaniments. Jeff went for the eggs benedict which came with an army of home fries.
He too loved his savory cheesy eggs, and neither of us needed lunch! Breakfast at Mix is big on flavor, portions, and you’ll feel right at home.
