Croton Gorge Park, Westchester NY

Croton Gorge Park is an amazing gem in Cortlandt, NY. Right from the parking lot you are given outstanding views of the Croton Dam and spillway.

This is a beautiful engineering feat, and you can climb to the top of this wonder.

Here atop the aqueduct views are afforded of the reservoir and surrounding land.

 There are many nooks to explore and wildflowers to be seen around the park.

Wild Bergamot 

Along the wooded trails in the park are seemingly endless bushes freckled with more of those sweet wonderful raspberries. Never had ones so delicious!
