Brunch in Ossining: Wobble Cafe

I had a delectable brunch at Wobble Café in Ossining, Westchester. This place has really great chow, but you must be aware of the atmosphere. It is a kitschy joint that is extremely kid friendly. We were lucky to visit on an off-hour when the place was quiet, but even with only few different dining groups present there was one child howling. So if you have kids, join the party! If you don’t have kids, plan to dine at an off-hour, the food is certainly worth a visit. I started with a maple spice latte which was tasty and there was a lot to look at while I waited for my meal.

On the table there were card games, in the back there were children’s books and toys, and tons of interesting decorations on the walls to gawk at. The meals came fast, I got breakfast strudel which was baked eggs, onion, pepper, tomato, and cheddar delightfully placed in a puff pastry. My mom got cornmeal pancakes with a lemon ricotta cheese and blueberries, they were so fluffy and it was a flavorful combination.

We both really enjoyed our meals and were interested in other menu options. If I had room I would have loved to try their homemade doughnuts! Next time.
