Many of the Capital Region’s local libraries are quite beautiful. The architecture of Troy’s library is a stunning marble creation, and the stained glass windows are works of art. Cohoes beautiful brick library contains a gigantic replica of a Mastodon, much like the one found in the city in 1866.
I would like to visit all of the libraries in the area, and I am well on my way. I find this to be a great and free way to get to know many communities in the Capital Region, while sustaining a love of reading of course.
