Surrounded by skyscrapers, museums, and cafes, The Green is Charlotte’s quintessential square.
Signs point you to Charlotte’s all over the world, but to everyone inside the park North Carolina is the center of the world.
It’s just over an acre large, but for such a small place there is so much to take in. The area is filled with public art and you’ll notice it has a literature motif as you observe the details of various sculptures.
Golden pages are scattered around the grounds etched with poetry.
Reading them can cause a crick in your neck, but curiosity had me thirsting for the next line.
If it’s a hot day you can run through the stream of fish spit.
Get out your book or grab a picnic from a nearby restaurant – bring a blanket or claim your stake at one of the mosaic benches, and stay a while.
Choi, that’s the dumbest thing I’ve read this week. Congrats buddy. Be bitter somewhere else.
How is anyone going to read the golden pages if they tilt everything! Horrible design! =p
