Where to Play Pinball in Wilmington, North Carolina

+Blue Post Billiards, 15 S Water St, Wilmington, NC 28401

It’s a little difficult to find the entrance to this hang out, tucked around the corner of an alleyway, but the search is well worth your reward.

This is a true hidden gem with quite swanky décor.

There are pool tables, foosball, and skeeball – keeping it classic.

Plentiful pinball, the best selection with the most machines throughout the area.

I was most excited to see Royal Rumble, one I’d never played before!

+Cape Fear Wine & Beer, 139 N Front St, Wilmington, NC 28401

Dark ambiance and punk rock, your classic dive with some nonconventional attributes. The bar has 300 types of beer to choose from, 25 on tap. Weekly events give deals on certain types of brews, also wines and ciders. Saturdays special is unique and fun – it’s world beer quest with geographically-themed beer deals. You might enjoy massage Monday at the bar, with a licensed masseuse. All of that is good and well, but what I appreciated most is the brand new Ghostbusters pinball machine in mint condition.

+Calico Room, 107 S Front St, Wilmington, NC 28401

This popular bar accumulates quite the crowd as the night goes on. There is live music and a dance floor, events like karaoke, but thankfully tucked in the corner away from all of the people there is a LOTR pinball machine.

+New Anthem Beer Project, 116 Dock St, Wilmington, NC 28401

There are a great number of breweries to visit in Wilmington, but only one of them has a pinball machine!

+Jungle Rapids, 5320 Oleander Dr, Wilmington, NC 28403

Wow! This place has got a water park, mini golf, laser tag, rock wall climbing, go karts, but I blasted past it all to get to the pinball machines. They are in great working conditions and rarely frequented by others. You’ll find The Walking Dead, Adams Family, and Star Trek – three of my favorites. You’ll have to get a play card to swipe, the machines do not take quarters. A great thing about this place is it stays open late, until 10PM most nights, but Friday and Saturday till midnight! This is the spot for people uptown looking to play pinball.
