Dunedin, a small town on the Gulf Coast has a half dozen breweries. Can you quest to quaff them all? My own brewery crawl hit half of them saving the rest for next year!
Dunedin Brewery, 937 Douglas Ave Dunedin, FL 34698
Visit for the libations! The beer is top notch made in small batches, try out a flight or pick a pint. Apricot Peach Ale is the most popular, but there are other drinks that caught my eye. Moon Reflects On Hibiscus, Carl Saison, I’m a sucker for a well named brew.
Visit for the history. This is the oldest micro brewery in Florida. Visit for the entertainment. There is frequently live music to enjoy.
If for nothing else, visit for the hot pretzels. They are so darn good and such a generous portion. We got two orders thinking they would be sized for normal humans, but it was way excessive even for pretzel eating monsters!
We had leftovers for the next day which tasted great toasted up in the oven.
Woodwright Brewery, 985 Douglas Ave, Dunedin, FL 34698
If you’re looking for ambiance, this spot is nothing short of amazing. Enter the rustic wooden barn to pick from the selection of great beers for your flight. Then move on to the great outside seating. A bonfire was roaring on a cool Florida night. Just up the block from Dunedin Brewery, why not try both in one night?
7venth Sun Brewery
Tiny little taproom and patio were packed on a weekend night. The owners are well schooled in the brewing process. No specific flights, but you can order as many 4oz glasses of beer as you want to create your own.
There are more fun brew names here, you know I had to order kitty loves the milk! Tip: they have their own parking lot.
Will update that information asap! Love your brewery hope to visit when in the area again!
Thank you so much for the great write up! I have one correction – we actually do 4oz (not 2oz) pours of all draft beers. We love being a part of such an amazing town and so many great breweries all withing walking distance of each other! Dunedin is definitely worth a visit… or several.
