There is a beautiful stone labyrinth in a quiet church square. Driving down a sleepy residential road I barely expected my destination to appear, but there was St. Stephen’s Church [1229 Baker Ave, Schenectady, NY 12309]. The courtyard is quite the hidden gem. A perfect rosebush,
quirky stained glass window,
and of course what I came to see – the labyrinth.
Visit for a bout of peaceful meditation, we found complete solitude at dusk on Saturday. Stand at the entrance to the labyrinth and clear you mind. Walk the path slowly, think deeply.
