The Ides at Wythe Hotel, 80 Wythe Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11249
You’ll feel quite fancy heading up the elevator to the swank rooftop lounge, but don’t fret – this place is very relaxed. There is an indoor bar
and a deck that wraps around it out in the open air. Unobstructed views of Manhattan on one side and Brooklyn on the other are the real draw to this place.
Drinks are definitely more expensive here, but it is a gratuity free establishment and my wine was excellent.
This would be an amazing spot to watch the sun go down!
Berry Park, 4 Berry St, Brooklyn, NY 11211
A trendy, yet casual rooftop bar with Manhattan skyline views. Get cozy with your neighbors, there are clusters of communal tables out in the open air.
If you feel the need to head inside, do so downstairs! There is another bar down there, plus a foosball table(!!!) and big TVs that usually have the game on.
Spritzenhaus, 33 Nassau Ave, New York, 11222
It’s late. You may be getting cold or hungry. Hunker down at this beer hall, and order a snack – offerings include sausages, Belgian fries, salad, and the only thing I’m interested in: Sigmund’s seriously delectable soft pretzels with a variety of dipping sauces.
Caution, these babies come out piping hot!
