A 1929 Nabisco warehouse was converted into a contemporary art museum, Dia:Beacon [3 Beekman St, Beacon, NY 12508] was born. The gallery hosts thought provoking works from the 1960s on.
Visit the multiple floors and take on all of the exhibits, you can definitely spend a half-day here. I loved the geometric shapes,
shiny glass sculptures,
and the eerie basement exhibit.
This is a great element for the art lover’s day trip to Beacon.
