Art galleries, artisanal crafts, a place to grab some tea, and a whole lot to see. If you looking to get some gifts for friends or family, or a piece of artwork to take home from your trip, Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village [336 AZ-179, Sedona, AZ 86336] is a one of a kind spot to do your shopping while in Sedona. We parked by the water which was really flowing in late November and took in the beautiful fall scene.
The ‘village’ isn’t too large, but it might be a good idea to check out the map so you can orient yourself and not get lost within the lovely little nooks and crannies. Unless of course losing yourself is part of the plan.
This space is nothing like your typical mall. If you like shopping or art, but you aren’t into commercial venues – this is for you. Walking around the cobblestone paths and enjoying the architecture, almost imagining you’re in Mexico, is a part of the fun here. There are so many interesting shops and galleries to pop in and out of. There are high-end items along with plenty of affordable finds, but just window shopping can be enjoyable as well.
Pop into The Chai Spot for a spot of tea and a bit of relaxation on the cozy balcony.
Tlaquepaque is a great place to stroll about and take a break from the day, and possibly go home with something to remind you of your trip.
