For most, this sparkling sign is the image that pops up in your head when you hear ‘Las Vegas.’ The sign welcomes you into the city, sets the mood, and it is indeed fabulous.

Palm trees and high-rise casinos are just a few short blocks away creating a perfect Vegas background. You should take a few minutes out of your day to visit. It’s free, and you’ll have a postcard memory. There is a parking lot adjacent to the sign filled with cars. This is a pretty popular thing to do, so hop on line and wait your turn. Make friends with the people behind you, they’ll be taking your picture if you’re nice. If you can, try to come during the day to get a more clear shot. At night most cameras don’t capture you very well next to the bright sign. Most likely there will be a man there offering to take pictures for your choice of donation, if you wish. Just a few minutes from the main strip, you shouldn’t miss a visit to the infamous sign!
