I found my dream arcade in Binghamton!
Robot City [126 Clinton St, Binghamton, NY 13903] has all of my favorite childhood games, I could spend endless hours playing under the neon lights. They host seven pinball machines from the 90s and 2000s including Star Wars, Twilight Zone, and WWF Royal Rumble, all in great condition.
Old school favorites such as Space Invaders and Pac-Man are present, and now mildly retro Duck Hunt and Super Mario Bros as well. Some of the best fighting games were there: Mortal Kombat, Tekken, and Street Fighter.
One of the most nostalgic games for me is The Simpsons machine which I used to be able to play nearly forever on just one quarter – too bad I could barely get past the big Krusty the Clown boss this time around!
You can find a full list of games on their website. Attached to the arcade is a video game store, so the fun doesn’t have to stop when you walk out the door. Such a great variety of games, tokens are very reasonably priced, if you are ever in Binghamton and you enjoy a good arcade Robot City is a must visit!
