Stone Quarry Hill Art Park, Central New York

Beauty and creativity, both manmade and natural, Stone Quarry Hill Art Park [3883 Stone Quarry Rd, Cazenovia, NY 13035] is a feast for the eyes. There are four miles of trails to wander, so grab a map and pick your starting place.

These trails are certainly more on the natural beauty side, and I began wondering if I would ever encounter the manmade art in this park. Soon enough though, we felt a change in atmosphere. The Woodland Trail and the Hill Top were splattered with interesting pieces, coupled with gorgeous views. In the woods the pieces were subtle. What I thought was just a rock I scoffed at, until it caught my eye at the perfect moment as I passed by and a face appeared, then disappeared as I continued on.
