Service is quick, waters and some goodies were brought over in a flash. Fluffy sourdough bread with a savory white bean spread and a spoonful of peas were complimentary and delicious!
I always try to avoid filling up on bread, but I rarely can resist. I ordered a small portion of the shrimp and grits (to save room for dessert!) and it was the perfect size.
What a fantastic plate, the grits were perfectly creamy and sopped up the slightly spicy and velvety sauce. The shrimp were succulent, and fresh greens and peppers brightened up the meal. Jeff got an epically plump steak and I stole some of his tasty roasted root vegetables.
The sticky toffee pudding was decadent and sprinkled with pecans and vanilla ice cream…
A perfect ending to the meal!
