Dinner in Guilderland at Sage Bistro

Sage Bistro [2050 Western Ave, Suite 108 Guilderland, NY 12084] in Guilderland was such a surprise! Located in a strip mall the storefront doesn’t look like much, but you will walk into a classy setting and get some pretty delicious food. We popped in with no reservations early on a Friday night and were quickly given a carafe of water and some divine hummus with warm pita.

I would come back with no intentions other than to eat that hummus! Yummus. We ordered entrees which came with fantastic salads.

Fresh greens firm and juicy tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, and surprise craisins. The homemade herbed cucumber vinaigrette was dreamy. A great beginning to the meal. The entrees that we chose weren’t out of the ballpark, but not bad by any means. Jeff got a steak

and I got a shrimp and pasta dish.

We didn’t have room for dessert, but they had a gelato case in the front of the restaurant which looked really tempting. Next time!
