I took a trip up to
Clifton Park for a little hike before some libations at a nearby
brewery. Kinns is a small park filled with a lot of trees and dog walkers, and not too much else (625 Kinns Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065). We took the loop trail that was 1.23 miles through the woods.

At certain times you were parallel with the road, other times you were right next to peoples backyards. This is a quiet seeming community trail, which is so great for the town. There was a fantastic trail map in the parking lot which showed a large amount of different paths you can take, and a color code to mark how easy or difficult the paths were, a really well maintained and detailed system.

Certain areas were mildly hilly and this whole preserve was very quaint. I noticed a few trees along the loop that were decorated with a single ornament, very cute!

This is a perfect short walk right down the road from the brewery, and a good place to get some exercise and nature as a stand alone.
