I had the cutest lunch date right in
New Rochelle at
R Patisserie (302 Huguenot Street, New Rochelle, NY 10801, easy metered street parking nearby). The atmosphere here was superb, comfy chairs, high ceilings, and jazzy music.
We scored a cozy little window seat amongst plants across from a stone church.
They have a nice selection of tea I went with a hibiscus, floral and decaf.
Lunch was simply delectable and served on a silver platter! My mom and I each got half sandwiches and split the half soup and salad. The ‘r’ sandwich was so good, the bread was perfect, and there was an awesome combination of flavors going on. The soup was so tasty and warm, a butternut squash. I am not the biggest salad person but this one was actually fantastic, it had some bits and pieces in it accompanied by a great dressing.
Had such a lovely time, would love to come back and try some of their pastries!
