Took a short close to home hike at the Moh-He-Con-Nuck Nature Preserve in Selkirk. The trail head tells a bit of history about the land and the natives that once roamed it.
It had some real peaceful trails through varying landscapes. I saw lots of chipmunks, and some wild turkey.
There was a tranquil pond where I watched and listened to the birds and frogs.
This is a great quick trip to get into the woods for some peaceful exercise and enjoyment. We were the only people using the trails on this day.
