I visited Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson, NY this weekend and had a wonderful time. It is a very eclectic park, there is a beach, campgrounds, pavilions, and various hiking trails. We traversed most of the hiking trails to make our way around the peninsula, some were better maintained than others. The day was grey making interesting views of the sky, river, and mountains, all silver and blue.
We caught a glimpse of the Tappen Zee Bridge and the stark palisades in the distance across the river.
We went down the shore and found a multitude of sea glass, and found some old cast away Indian arrowheads. We saw blue herons, frogs, and some other lovely natural treasures as well.
