I had a nice evening hike at Indian Kill preserve in Glenville the other day. It was a quiet evening, we ran in to only one other person along the way. We took the red trail all the way out and back so that we could see all three waterfalls. The first one we passed was technically a dam, but it had some nice water falling action. This was very close to the lot and surrounded by pretty wildflowers and cool bridge to walk over it.
You travel through some varied landscapes such as dense wooded forests, wetlands, meadows, and streams.
We saw a lot of frogs, squirrels, and heard many happy birds chirping.
The second and third waterfalls were breathtaking, however they were quite beautiful in their own and peaceful to watch and listen to.
