I celebrated my birthday recently, and there’s no one I like to do it better with than my Mom! We had all sorts of adventures around Westchester and Long Island. My annual birthday lunch is at Surf’s Out in Kismet, Long Island. We park at Robert Moses State Park and walk the national seashore till we get there. I love gazing out at the waves and the picturesque Fire Island Lighthouse.
When we get to Kismet I love looking at the kitschy decorations on all of the summer homes.
I got fresh baked clams and split some fish tacos. Yummm, this is the stuff summer dreams are made of.
This year we got ice cream at a joint next door. It was very affordable for the area and portions were good, and they had SPUMONI! Score! It was super yummy.
