Bennett Hill

Hiking is one of my favorite activities, and I’m always on the lookout for a new place to do it. Today in between the raindrops I went to Bennett Hill.

Drive down Delaware Ave out into the country, Clarksville, and it isn’t far from there. Down a winding road past the cows and into the gravel parking lot, and you’re ready for a nice little hike. It’s just 3 miles round trip, but that’s enough time to clear your mind in nature. Parts of the hike are muddy so you can hop onto makeshift log bridges.

When you’re almost to the top of the hill there is a caste iron tub, which appeared to be running! So bizarre, and I can’t image someone lugging that all the way up there.

There is a small overlook with a pleasant view.
