Albany’s Corning Tower

I love the Corning Tower, I’ve been there countless time, but never in the winter…until now! The sights were so different with the bare trees, you can really observe a whole lot more. I love visit in every season, this is definitely the best view in Albany.

You can get some serious elevation if you jump at the right time while heading up to the 42nd floor! The views from the observation deck are phenomenal. You can walk around spotting all of the buildings you know by sight, or look at informational panels pointing out some of the biggies. If you bring some quarters you can use one of those sight seeing binocular machines. The observation deck is only open from 10-4, M-F. It’s free to visit!
