On a chilly Sunday afternoon there was no lovelier place than a sunny window seat looking out at the patio in the Saratoga Winery [462 Route 29 Saratoga Springs, NY 12866] dreaming of warmer days.
In this spacious winery everything around us was wooden from the floors to the tables to the ceiling. We thankfully came in just before the crowd and our order came out very quickly, this place gets pretty popping! There is a lot going on at this winery they have live music, trivia, and dinners along with the wine. Wine tastings are 5 for $5, but we decided to get a wine and cheese pairing which will run you $12 and it was a perfect little snack for sharing.
They also have wine and chocolate pairings! Yum. The wines came in a spiral cascade; the rustic red was my favorite.
All of the chunks of cheeses were tasty and plentiful. Jeff had a regional craft beer flight as well which he seemed to enjoy.
I felt very comfortable sitting here. Groups, couples, and families of all ages, even with young ones, were enjoying their time here.
This is a great place to spend some time if you’re in Saratoga Springs!
