The Berkshire Museum is great place to go especially if you have kids to entertain, or if you are a kid at heart.
There are diverse and hands-on exhibits ranging from dinosaurs, animals of the Berkshire environment, art, minerals, and even a little aquarium. The museum is small and easily seen in just a few hours.
I especially enjoyed looking at the “Berkshire Backyard” exhibit being a nature lover. The “Hall of Innovation” had great brainteaser games to play and people could easily lose themselves in a game for an hour. The aquarium was very small but had some neat fish, frogs, and reptiles.
Going here it is good to know that this museum has a lot of exhibits geared towards children, and that there will be a lot of children present. If you are okay with that, grab a museum pass from Albany’s library and go for free!
