Ice cream floats and vintage arcade games – what more could you possibly need to rock your boat? The Soda Parlor is what my dreams are made of, a gem in Nashville.
Inside, the menu offers ice cream floats, milk shakes, and waffle sundaes. Well actually, they call them waffle mondaes. All of the Belgian waffles are served hot and fresh, so you can imagine how good it smells. The cinnamon bun mondae is made with with a cinnamon waffle, biscoff cookie butter, praline ice cream, whipped cream, caramel, and pecans.
The heat of the brown melts the ice cream to the consistency that I love, infusing the crannies of the dough with praline goodness – it’s just a heavenly combination overall. As if the dessert wasn’t sweet enough, all of the arcade games are free.
That means you can use your sugar high to play unlimited Ms Pacman, Mario Bros, Ninja Turtles, and there are board games in the upstairs loft too.
