Visiting the PEZ Visitor Center in Connecticut

PEZ peppermints are as fun to play with and collect as they are to eat. Remember the novelty of them from childhood, but appreciate the history of them today at the PEZ Visitor Center [35 Prindle Hill Rd, Orange, CT 06477].

Did you know that the candy was invented in Austria – as an alternative to smoking?! An enormous collection of PEZ memorabilia is on display with themes that anyone can relate to.

With themes from Star Wars

to American presidents – there is such a variety!

Be sure to participate in the scavenger hunt, which is fun for kids and adults alike. If you complete it, you can win your very own PEZ dispenser. Spin the wheel to see what you get!

Discover some of the rarest PEZ dispensers ever produced.

YOU yourself can even become the largest PEZ dispenser!

Upstairs, there are vintage uniforms and artifacts.

Even a dedicated PEZ motorcycle built by Orange County Choppers. When you’re finished looking around – be sure to stock up on the candy, there are so many flavors to choose from!

Sour pineapple, cola, birthday cake, what’s your flavor?

Good to know:
