The Odyssey, Gatineau, Quebec

Public art, the sprinkles of life. Colorful, merry, and often free. A little park on the Brasserie Creek, right by the Theater of the Island, and Soif Bar a vin holds a surprising little gem. The Odyssey [7 Rue Montcalm, Gatineau, QC J8X 4B4, Canada] is a larger than life sculpture on the side of the road crafted by artist duo Cooke-Sasseville.

Three folksy pigeons take on an iconic can of Campbell’s tomato soup. Who would win in such a battle? The perplexing thought is left open for interpretation.
