Hiking around East Bay SF: Kennedy Grove

Park and search through the eucalyptus trees in the big lawn until you stumble upon the trail, Kennedy Grove [6531 San Pablo Dam Road El Sobrante, CA 94803] seemed somewhat of a mystery to me on a foggy day.

The Seafoam and the Laural Loop trails wind up and down hills and afford lovely views, well – I think through all of that fog there was something beautiful out there.

The forest was ethereal. Trees slant sideways and their kinky branches are covered in sea green moss.

Find the hilltop bench that overlooks the San Pablo Dam and enjoy a quiet moment.

There are plenty of treasures waiting to be uncovered,

so get out there and take a hike!
