Eat your way through East Bay San Francisco

Ike’s Place, 2204 Broadway Oakland, CA 94612 (multiple locations)

Nothing satisfies like a stellar sandwich, you’ll get that at Ike’s, there is a reason stores have sprouted all over the state of California. Hop on line and try to narrow down your choices, there are so many! They will also make you sandwiches you see online, and you can customize.

Dutch crunch, and I couldn’t leave the SF area without trying some sour dough! Lucky for me Jeff was down to split, so I got to try the best of both worlds. Man that’s some killer bread, and everything in between is super fresh and tasty.

Try the Jim Rome with avocado, cheddar, Ike’s red pesto, and turkey – or make your own masterpiece! This location is small, a few outdoor tables – you may consider taking it to go.

Simply Bowl, 2156 University Ave, Berkeley, CA 94704

Looking for something a bit on the healthier side and to satisfy your seafood craving, this casual spot was a win. Preset poke bowls are prepared quickly and come out delicious.

Cinnaholic, 2132 Oxford St, Berkeley, CA 94704

Don’t forget dessert! I know I never do, and this is a place worth traveling out of SF for. Customizable cinnabuns with, totally drool-worthy. Stay tuned for post coming on places to hike in the East Bay, necessary post-gorge. Frosting flavors such as amaretto, chai, mac nut, and marshmallow…toppings including gingersnap cookies, fruit, and pretzels – what combo would you create? PS, you’d never guess they’re vegan.
