Sweet Cravings Bakery + Bistro, Moab

Service is really important in restaurants. When a place has really good friendly service, you feel even better about the food. When the food is just as great as the service, what could be better? We felt right at home in Sweet Cravings Bakery and Bistro [397 N Main St, Moab, UT 84532]. They were having a chili contest and offered us a whole free plate of chili with a lot of fresh accoutrements.

We called our sandwiches in ahead of time so we didn’t have to wait at all, as suggested on their website. I went for the turkey BLT which had tarragon aioli and preservative free meat. The restaurant uses locally grown produce and regionally produced dairy, great place to eat real local. The toast on the thick sourdough bread which is baked from scratch was perfect, all ingredients were just superb, and the meal comes with chips, homemade applesauce or homemade coleslaw or the “crave of the day’ which was potato salad…which had more bacon in it. I went with the potato salad, so creamy and amazing! I had one half of the sandwich inside, and the other half on the road.

My cookie had white chocolate chips, cranberries, pretzels, and all sorts of amazing attributes, and it was gigantic! Best decision ever. Jeff got the turkey wrap which had everything I got along with some lettuce and cheese, it was packed with meat!
