Croatian Eats: Bokeria Kitchen & Wine

An animate anachronism, hip and trendy, Bokeria Kitchen & Wine [Cosmijeva ul. 2, 21000, Split, Croatia] exists within the Split’s ancient palace walls. The two floors of this lively joint were filled with people eating and chatting in paradise. We scored a spot at a communal table and looked upon the interesting quotes, decorations, and up above to the high ceilings. Bokeria is known for their burgers, and my friend was so psyched to try it out. It was huge, cooked just right, and had some killer sauce. The meal paired fabulously with home fries and wine.

IMG_7014I love-love-loved my black pasta with cod in red sauce. Everything was fresh and so comforting. I couldn’t get enough of it.

IMG_7015Dessert was on the house thanks to our sweet and very friendly waiter. My pal had a divine chocolate caramel tart, and I had a nutella panna cotta which I like alotta.
