Saratoga Eats: Sweet Mimi’s

Sweet…sweet…so sumptuously Sweet Mimi’s [47 Phila St, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866]. Come for brunch, they’ve truly got it going on in this cozy little joint. I got the bacon pancakes, because I’m a sucker for anything sweet and salty. They’re pretty. They’re delicious. They’re worth it. Folded into their homemade batter are chunks of bacon, and the pancakes are gently slathered in salted caramel sauce. As if that wasn’t enough there is a mountain of their ‘real’ whipped cream.

IMG_5155As unbelievably delicious as my meal was, I was so jealous of Jeff’s choice. I had one bite and I would have given up my pancakes for this sandwich. A bacon egg and cheese with guacamole on the holiest sourdough bread you could fathom.

IMG_5154This sandwich was Mimi’s masterpiece, magnum opus, wowie. I can barely handle talking about it right now, and I only had a mere one memorable bite. Thank goodness I do not live in Saratoga, or Mimi would have to reserve a seat with my name on it, like it or not. Yum.
