Greenwich CT Eats: Meli-Melo

Healthy, funky, fun, and comfy: Lunch at Meli-Melo in Greenwich, Connecticut [362 Greenwich Ave, Greenwich, CT 06830] was a perfect post-hike meal! The menu in this happy yellow space is great! It’s packed with a variety of sweet and savory crepes, salads, soups, sandwiches, juices, and desserts. It’s hard to choose from such a variety, but I made my decision. I got the 4 Seasons crepe which was loaded with fresh beautiful veggies [artichoke, heart of palm, avocado, asparagus, tomato, scallion, corn, spinach, sun dried tomato, bean sprout] and some cheese.

My Mom got the Californian, another veggie crepe packed with the good stuff [spinach, roasted eggplant, zucchini, squash, sun dried tomato, fresh tomato, scallion, corn, bean sprouts], and we happily exchanged bites.

These bad boys are indeed big and filling, but you must save yourself some room for dessert. There is a counter with homemade ice cream and sorbet in tantalizing flavors, and an ice cream crepe was calling our names! We got a nutella crepe with two scoops, which was perfect to split.

The warm crepe with slivers of rich nutella melted the ice cream dreamily, so delightfully yummy. If you’re looking for lunch in Greenwich, look no further than Meli-Melo!
