Altamont Eats: Mio Vino

Mio Vino is a smooth and sophisticated joint you wouldn’t quite expect to be on the main drag in rural Altamont [186 Main St, Altamont, NY 12009]. As out of place as it may seem nestled between mom and pop country-esque shops, the restaurant was packed on a Saturday night! There are a few outdoor seats for when the weather gets a bit warmer, inside there is a bar, and the restaurant is deceptively big. We were seated in a quiet dark corner and enjoyed listening to the jazz and nibbling on some garlic knots and bread with oil.
