Troy Eats: The Ruck

I’ve been hearing for ages that The Ruck in Troy [104 3rd St, Troy, NY 12180] has the regions best wings, and while their wings are great, they’ve also got a whole lot more awesome to offer! Street parking was quiet on a Sunday afternoon, we tipped our hats to the Sam outside and found a quiet window seat in a dark dive bar.

Our waiter came over quickly with menus, waters, and a smile. Jeff got the classic buffalo wings which were definitely delicious with all the right crispiness and smothered in sauce.

To go with them some animal style fries were in order, which were extremely addicting topped with ‘spidah’ sauce and cheese.

I got the falafel flatbread which was perfectly balanced with all different flavors including hummus, tomato, onion, feta, spinach, and yogurt dressing.

So everything was so very delicious, service spectacular, and the bar itself was so alive with the crowd of regulars. I would absolutely recommend coming to the Ruck for wings, beer, or ANYTHING else on the menu! A serious gem here.
