Madison Theater

I can’t believe I’ve never been to Madison Theater before! I’m not the biggest movie go-er but when I do catch a flick I’ll try and go to an independent place like Scotia Cinema or Spectrum 8. Similar to Scotia, Madison plays movies a bit later for a cheaper price. I saw the last Hobbit movie recently for just $5, worth the wait instead of paying double at Regal. It’s a great little theater with comfortable chairs that lean back. On my visit the theater was nearly empty, only a handful of other patrons so it was a very quiet viewing experience. They also play much older movies and have live events. Street parking is pretty ample in the area, but there is no parking lot. Try out this affordable local joint to catch your next movie, and check on livingsocial to see if they still have a deal: $7 for two tickets and a popcorn!
